HIER EN DAAR

De stichting id11 streeft naar de realisatie van een gastatelier in Delft. Als aanloop daar naar toe presenteerde id11 in de week van 25 t/m 31 augustus 2008 het project HIER EN DAAR: een expositie in de vrije ruimte van 38CC in Bacinol met werk van kunstenaars gemaakt in gastateliers; zowel in het buitenland als in Nederland. Er is een avond georganiseerd waarin de ervaringen van kunstenaars met gastateliers centraal stond en de mogelijkheden werden toegelicht. Daarnaast vond er een expertmeeting plaats met betrokkenen in het veld om te onderzoeken of de realisatie van een gastatelier in Delft mogelijk is. Hierbij presenteerden we gastateliers in een vergelijkbare steden als Delft en gaf Trans Artists input. Vanuit de expertmeeting zullen we een startdocument realiseren waarmee we verder aan de slag kunnen. Dit startdocument is hier te downloaden.

Foundation id11 aspires to create artist residencies in Delft, the Netherlands. id11 presented the project HIER EN DAAR as a preparation to the realization of their artist-in-residence HET TIJDELIJK VERBLIJF. From August 25 until August 31, 2008 the project took take place at the ‘free space' of 38CC in Bacinol, Delft with an exhibition of work made by artists during their residency; abroad or in the Netherlands. An evening was organized about experiences and possibilities of artist residencies. Besides that an expert meeting took place to study the possibilities of realizing artist residencies in Delft. id11 presented an experienced, representative artist residency in a similar city as Delft and asked Trans Artists (an organization who manages among other things an data base/internet site with residencies all over the world) for expertise on this area.
