FLAT_land

In a temporay location at the Poptahof neighborhood in Delft, The Netherlands, foundation id11 realized the project FLAT_land. Over a period of time, artists took possession of apartments and houses which were slated for demolition. Two houses and several apartments were used for id11’s artist-in-residence program HET TIJDELIJK VERBLIJF as spaces for (inter) national artists to live and work. The other apartments and houses were used by artists living close to Delft. The participating artists made work related to this unique location. Every month there was a presentation of the FLAT_land project; four artists introduced themselves and talked about their works at bij wijze van SPREKEN, while all participating artist presented their work at the _galerij_loop_____.

PUBLICATION FLAT_land
In 2009 id11 accomplished the project FLAT_land. Approximately 85 artists executed a project in an empty house or apartment of FLAT_land situated in the Poptahof neighborhood, Delft, The Netherlands. Among the participants were around 37 international artists using id11’s artist-in-residence program HET TIJDELIJK VERBLIJF.
